After installing Mida Convertor (I got it with an upgrade to Delphi XE5 Ultimate), I opened a simple project of mine and tried the conversion.
I immediately get an error message saying: 'Error - Try to disable UAC or login with Admin User'.
What is this then? I am the only user and am an Administrator, and I will not disable UAC just because some program asks me to. Is this normal behaviour for the product and if so why?
I reluctantly pressed OK (the only option!), and the Mida screen came up - I pressed convert. It seems to have done. However, when I open the 'Firemonkey' project I'm getting lots of errors 'Error Reading Form: Foem1', saying things like 'Error reading btnCopy.TabStop: Property TabStop does not exist. Ignore the error ...etc'. Like loads of them.
Not impressed!

Hi
Which version of Mida are you using ? Mida Basic for XE5 or ?
see the blu Mida caption.

I'm getting the same errors, even running as Administrator and with UAC cranked down to zero (which I really dislike). I've run the free version of Mida that came with XE5, and the Studio version I just purchased. I used WIndows 8.1 if that's relevant.
